Was sich ändert, wenn ein Besitzer jede Miete selbst annimmt
Auf 2EM entscheidet der Besitzer über Preis, Anfrage und Schlüsselübergabe. Bei DRAIV hängt das am Auto: Autos mit Sofort-Buchung sind mit der Zahlung bestätigt und öffnen per App, bei Anfrage-Autos nimmt der Besitzer zuerst an.
2EM wurde 2012 in Freiburg gegründet, hat seinen Sitz heute in Neuenburg und zählt nach eigenen Angaben über 2'000 Fahrzeuge, mit Schwerpunkt in der Romandie. Der Besitzer legt den Preis fest und nimmt eine Anfrage innert 24 Stunden an oder lehnt sie ab, ausser das Auto ist sofort reservierbar. Deine Karte wird bei der Anfrage vorautorisiert und erst belastet, wenn er annimmt. Den Schlüssel bekommst du vom Besitzer, ausser das Auto hat eine Keybox, deren Code dir die App beim Check-in zeigt, oder 2EM Open, mit dem du es per App öffnest.
Abgesichert sind die meisten Autos auf 2EM über Helvetia (vormals Baloise). Du wählst eine von drei Schutzstufen mit CHF 1'500, CHF 1'000 oder CHF 750 Selbstbehalt, und je nach Stufe hinterlegst du bis zu CHF 300 Kaution, die auf deinem Kundenkonto bleibt, bis du sie zurückforderst. Bei DRAIV wählst du ebenfalls den Selbstbehalt, CHF 200, CHF 2'000 oder CHF 5'000, und in keiner Stufe wird eine Kaution gesperrt. Dafür steht DRAIV nur in Zürich und Umgebung, dazu in Ennetbaden und Zug. Wer ein Auto in Lausanne oder Sion sucht, ist bei 2EM richtig.

Using a car through DRAIV was easier than we could have hoped for. The car was exactly where it was supposed to be at the expected time. The car was in great condition, and it was super comfortable. I made an error when I failed to account for a time zone change, and the issue was resolved in less than 5 minutes from when I messaged. Using a car through DRAIV was easier than we could have hoped for. The car was exactly where it was supposed to be at the expected time. The car was in great condition, and it was super comfortable. I made an error when I failed to account for a time zone change, and the issue was resolved in less than 5 minutes from when I messaged. I had a question while I was using the car, and again, I had an answer in minutes. After this experience, I can’t imagine ever renting from anywhere else. Thank you, DRAIV!
