Advertising Cookies (Optional)
Only with your consent, we use advertising technologies from Google and Meta to show our cars on Google, Instagram and Facebook to people who have previously visited our website (remarketing), and to measure whether these ads lead to bookings.
- Google Ads (Google): remarketing and conversion measurement. The signals ad_user_data and ad_personalization, which Google requires for remarketing, are only granted after your consent.
- Meta Pixel (Meta): loaded only after your consent; records page views, viewed cars, started bookings and completed bookings including the booking value.
- Meta Conversions API (Meta): only with your consent, we additionally transmit started and completed bookings, including the booking value, directly from our servers to Meta, together with your email address and phone number in hashed form (SHA-256), a hashed internal customer number, the Meta cookie identifiers and your browser information (user agent).
The data processed includes in particular the pages visited, the car viewed, an internal booking reference and the booking value, technical information about your device and browser, and cookie identifiers. Google and Meta may process this data outside Switzerland and the EU (see Section 4).
With every booking, we store the UTM parameters and the landing page through which you reached us. Ad click identifiers (Google gclid, gbraid and wbraid, Meta fbclid and the values of the _fbc and _fbp cookies) are stored only with your consent to advertising cookies; we delete them when you withdraw your consent, and in any case after 13 months.
For users in Switzerland and the EEA, the providers are Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. We and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited are joint controllers for the collection of data via the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API and for its transmission to Meta; Meta's subsequent processing is not part of this joint controllership.
Where data is transferred to the USA in this context, the transfer is based on the certification of Google LLC and Meta Platforms, Inc. under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Since 15 September 2024, the Swiss Federal Council has recognised an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Advertising cookies are disabled by default. You give your consent by clicking "Accept all" in the cookie banner or by switching on "Advertising" in the cookie settings. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via "Cookie Settings" in the footer; withdrawal takes effect for the future.

All transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards as required by Swiss and EU law, including EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, including:

9. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this policy:
- Account data: Until account deletion plus 7 years for legal requirements
- Booking records: 10 years for insurance and legal purposes
- Analytics data: 26 months (Google Analytics default)
- Consent records: 13 months after withdrawal
- Support communications: 3 years
